How do I add a class?

Click Add Class below the green box and search for courses by typing in course abbreviations, course name or course number.

Who can sell notes on Notehall?

Any student that has registered for Notehall.com can upload their documents and sell course documents to their classmates.

Selling Notes

  1. Have the class added that you wish to sell your documents in.
  2. Click start Selling and upload your full document in section 1
  3. Upload a Preview; create a sample document that users will see. Create a preview by deleting 70%-75% of your full document and save and upload the document as a preview.
  4. Select the class and professor for that class
  5. Choose the type of your document: Study Guides, Lecture Notes, Reading Notes, Ect.
  6. Name and Describe it with class details and dates
  7. Post it! Rack in the Money!

How much money can I make using Notehall?

Notehall's top sellers have earned over $500 per semester by uploading their study guides and lecture notes for just 1 or 2 of their classes.

Notehall sellers typically earn $40-$120 for one study guide. Top sellers have seen the most document sales by informing their classmates when their study guides are uploaded on Notehall.com. Have fun selling your documents that you are already creating for yourself and earn to learn!

How many courses are available on Notehall?

All the classes at your college are available on Notehall.com. If you happen to see a class that isn't added please inform us of which class needs to be added at info@notehall.com.

What documents can you upload on Notehall.com?

Microsoft '97-'08 (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), Adobe PDF, Text

(doc, .ppt, .xls, .docx, .pptx, .xlsx, .pdf, .txt)

When are documents taken down?

Documents are removed from Notehall in 2 scenarios:

  1. When three user ratings average to lower than a 2.0 GPA
  2. When a Notehall website administrator takes it down because the document has been flagged, violates copyright terms, or is of poor quality.

When can I cash out?

Notehall users can cash out when their account balance reaches a minimum balance of $5.00 or they can always exchange their balance for credits with any account balance.

How does the credit system work?

Every student user who registers for Notehall.com with their university email is given 100 free credits. Credits are used to buy any documents available on Notehall.com Credits can easily be purchased in packages on Notehall.com. The higher a package is in price the less expensive it is per credit.

How long can I spend my credits on Notehall?

Credits that have been purchased will be available to users forever from their date of purchase then remaining credits will expire. If students don't use their initial free credits within 60 days of when they register these credits will expire.

How can I earn free credits on Notehall.com?

  1. Sell your documents and trade your cash in for credits. Trade your credits in for a better rate then you can purchase them for.
  2. Refer your friends earn 50 credits every time you refer a friend and they register and confirm
  3. Rate your documents and earn 5 credits back for every document you rate
  4. Make a suggestion if it get implemented in the website we will give you credits

How do I get my money?

A checks should arrive within 4-7 days after you cash out.

What if I download a poor document?

If a student has downloaded a bad document, they should immediately flag the document so the document can be reviewed and if needed taken down by Notehall Administrators. Those students that purchased this document will be reimbursed their credits. Simply email info@notehall.com and explain the problem with the document.

Who do I contact if I found a bug on Notehall.com?

If users find a bug they are encouraged to email Notehall's technology administrator at tech@notehall.com. Please explain the bug and exactly where it was found on Notehall.com and what you were in the process of doing. Those who first find these bugs will be rewarded with credits.
